I am from Venezuela, born and raised, and moved to the United States when I was 10 years old with my family looking for a better life. I completed High School and community college in the Boston area. Then transferred to Clarkson University to complete a degree in Mechanical engineering. Once I graduated I worked as a process engineer for an aerospace company in new york for about 4 years. At that point, I decided to pursue a personal goal of traveling abroad long-term and immersing myself in a different culture. I bought a one-way ticket and traveled to southeast Asia for a year. After my 1 year trip, I moved and lived in Australia for 2 years before moving back to the US and relocating back to Boston. I got a job at my current company (Materion) as a manufacturing engineer for about a year and a half. Then changed roles to process engineer where I worked on various projects to increase capacity in my department. 10 months later I got the opportunity to move into a management role that I currently hold overseeing all the melting operations of the company. Now I want to pursue my MBA to continue to grow within the company into a corporate global role. Management has always been a passion of time and I want to continue to learn and grow on both a professional and personal level to grow within the company to a fulfilling role
An essay outline is attached for the writer to use to write the final paper to be not less than 550 words and not more than 650 words.
Tell us about a time that you’ve been moved to act by something you read, a speech you heard, or a work of art that you experienced. What was it, and how did it impact you? What did you do — or what will you do — in response?
I prefer for it to follow up with either a similar topic of my last order or the same.
tell us about one question, challenge, or problem that you’d like to work to better understand or address during your time in college. Introduce this issue, and then explain why it matters to you and why it might matter to others. Feel free to be creative.
You could either write it as an essay or a script for a video essay.
